Had no fragrance at all

I first purchased a DW Home candle from Target and I fell in love with the scent and the container (it was in a glass and brass container that was really nice). I went back to find the same candle at Target and they didn't carry any longer, so I went directly to DW Home and I've been super pleased with their website and selection. They didn't have the EXACT same candle I'd found in Target, but they had this one, and I'm just as pleased. The candle is very high quality (doesn't burn too quickly, the wicks are stable, and the scent is fantastic). I went ahead and ordered another and one similar to it. They're pricy, yes, but worth it.

i am a devotee of the black rose sandalwood candle, and this one reminds me of it a bit. it has a similar smokiness, but the scent itself is a bit more subtle or has less throw. great for winter.
The scent is a mix of woods, crunchy leaves, oud, black tea, mossy. It's like if Apotheke Charcoal (sweet charcoal scent) & the forests in Maine had a baby. In my opinion 60% woody, 15% mossy, 25% charcoal. Love it.
I have really enjoyed the two or so dozen candles I have from DW. This one is the only one I blew out after a couple of minutes and replaced the lid. Some may love the aroma, but it is a bit to odd and sweet for my taste.
